What is a digital garden?
A digital garden is a space where you share your thoughts without a timeline-based structure as with articles on blogs. Gardens follow a topography-based structure, connecting ideas through bi-directional links.
Why am I creating one?
First of all, I want a space where I can dump the thoughts in my brain and “cultivate” them and see what they turn into.
Then I crave learning in public, because learning in public demands knowing how to communicate and explain topics in a way that others can comprehend.
How do I differentiate rough ideas from reasonably complete ones?
I will use an emoji categorisation:
- 🌱 Seedlings for very rough and early ideas
- 🌿 Budding for work I’ve cleaned up and clarified
- 🌳 Evergreen for work that is reasonably complete.
